Back from Austin

We're just back from a fantastic weekend in Austin. We got to do lots of our favorite Austiny things, like shopping at Central Market and getting to listen to live music while we got to eat a gourmet meal and watch Dominic play on the playscape! Hello! Is there a better Saturday afternoon than this???? Not for me! We got to spend time with some of our best friends, which was therapy in and of itself. Donny, Bronius' best friend from college, Doris, one of my best friend's from South Florida who is now getting her Ph D at UT, and Bonnie, another one of my dearest friends in the whole world who is getting married in 1 month and beginning her residency as a pediatrician. She will definitely be on speed-dial in this house! We stayed in a hotel which was super awesome, and the kids did amazingly well with everything! What troopers! I highly recommend Embassy Suites if you're looking for a family-friendly hotel. The two-room suite option is perfect for families, and there's a full, hot breakfast buffet offered the next day ;) We attended Mass at a beautiful parish and then went to Zilker Park to fly kites and have a picnic. As usual, we had the hardest time ripping ourselves away from Austin. All the same, there's NO place like home and it's GREAT to be back. Now it's time to tackle the luggage....blah! :) Praise be to Jesus for a safe trip for us and for the great time that we had.
